Isn't the mask too warm?
Not at all. Mulberry silk is naturally temperature-regulating and breathable, so it keeps you cool even in summer. The mask is ultra-thin and light, designed for complete comfort with no stuffy feeling.
How is this different from a regular sleep mask?
Regular masks press on your eyes and let light in around the edges. How do I care for it?
Hand washing is recommended: cold water with a mild detergent, then dry flat in open air. Machine washing is possible on a delicate 30°C (86°F) cycle inside a laundry bag, then air dry. Never tumble dry and never use bleach. Cared for this way, your mask will keep its softness and shine for years.
Can I use it with lash extensions?
Yes, it's made for that. The zero-pressure 3D design means your lashes are never squashed or bent during the night, so your extensions stay intact far longer.
Does it fit every head size?
Yes. The adjustable closure fits every head shape, from the smallest to the largest. You set your ideal fit once and the mask keeps it, wash after wash.
Does it stay in place all night?
Yes, whatever your sleeping position: on your back, your side or your stomach. The wrap-around design and secure closure mean the mask never slips off, even if you move a lot during the night.
What's the difference between cotton and silk?
Cotton absorbs your night creams, creates friction that damages your skin and hair, and traps moisture. Silk does the opposite: it's far softer, so no friction and no marks in the morning, it's temperature-regulating and adapts to your body heat, and it's far less absorbent, so your skincare stays on your skin all night instead of soaking into the fabric.
What's the difference between silk and satin?
Satin is a type of weave, often made from polyester, which is synthetic. It can feel soft, but it doesn't breathe, it can make you sweat, and it offers none of the natural benefits of silk. MyAdab mulberry silk is a 100% natural fibre from the silkworm cocoon, breathable and temperature-regulating, hypoallergenic, and Grade 6A at 23 momme, the highest quality available. If you see a cheap "satin mask", it's most likely polyester.
Is it suitable for every skin type?
Yes. Sensitive or reactive skin benefits from silk being hypoallergenic and gentle on irritation. Mature skin benefits from less friction and better moisture retention, which helps soften the look of fine lines. Normal skin simply keeps its balance and natural glow.
